My name is Luis Miguel Azorin and I am the content creator behind the YouTube channel Natural Portraits.

With a restless mind and a great love for the natural world, since childhood I have been fascinated by everything related to nature, from biology and entomology to the animal world and discovering everything related to the universe.

In 2004, some of these interests led to the development of one of the photographic disciplines I am most passionate about: astrophotography. I specialized in planetary astrophotography and collaborated with scientific organizations such as ALPO and PVOL, contributing my images.

In 2016, I also began to explore the branch of deep-sky astrophotography, as well as other natural disciplines such as macro photography and landscape photography, all of which led to the creation of the Natural Portraits project.

I am currently an active trainer in the various photographic disciplines I work with through the Natural Portraits project, including macro and extreme macro photography, night photography, landscape photography, long daytime exposure, astrophotography, and photographic development in its different variants.

Since May 2023, I have been part of the Starlight network of monitors, through the Starlight Foundation.
